Writing screenplays is a limited medium on its own, but bringing into the process the challenge of no visual information, no physical shots to set a mood, or character description to leave an initial impression brought with it a need to truly incorporate sound design into the very beginning of creating a story. Fold's Future is built on the bones of invocative sound and the writing process is where these sounds took root. 

The production process was one that I was at first cautious s to approach given that it was the only part in which I had little experience in. However this was also the point in the process in which my organizational skills fell into play. While the unnatural territory presented its hurdles, proper preparation, as well as the kindness and cooperation of my cast allowed this stage of the process to be as smooth sailing as I could have ever hoped. While nervous at first, the results of production only furthered my motivation and excitement for the final product!

Post production proved to be the most time consuming stage of this process. Given the nature of podcast the audience receive no visual queues and so everything from dialogue, to music, the smallest rustle of grass to the hum of space ship is layered in an atmospheric ambiance that brings the script and acting to life, transporting the listener. 

Creating a Pitch deck was the final step in the creation of Fold's Future. Having created the pilot, the expected plot of the rest of the series is laid out, as well as a comprehensive explanation of the pilot, setting and characters within the story.
